COASTAL CALM WITH A COLOMBIAN PULSE
Murano Elite is conceived as a serene coastal interior with a distinctly Colombian character. A restrained architectural base allows material, texture, and light to shape the atmosphere. Local craftsmanship, woven elements, warm timber, handcrafted lighting, art, and musical references create an authentic cultural layer without becoming thematic. A subtle salsa rhythm moves through the apartment in repeated frames, shifting textures, sculptural forms, and patterns of light—making rhythm part of the spatial experience. The result is calm, tactile, and deeply connected to Cartagena: coastal in its serenity, Colombian in its soul.

DESIGN DIRECTION
The design direction focuses on creating a clear, generous and cohesive home, where each intervention strengthens the way the apartment is experienced and inhabited.
• Respond to the existing architecture through bespoke elements — use custom-designed furniture and interventions to make challenging geometries feel intentional
• Balance expression with restraint — allow selected spaces and objects to carry more intensity while others remain calm
• Reclaim underused space — transform the corridor from a simple passage into an intentional spatial experience, using art, reflection, light, and movement to connect the social and private areas of the apartment
• Extend everyday living towards the coast — strengthen the relationship with daylight, views and the balcony as an extension of the interior
• Enrich everyday living — shape the apartment into a sequence of distinct yet connected spaces for gathering, hosting, working, and retreating, bringing generosity and versatility to every square metre.
• Create one coherent home while giving each room its own identity — unite every room through a shared architectural language while giving each space its own atmosphere, character, and moment of discovery
